Summary []

Shun Akiyama is one of the protagonists of the Yakuza series. He was once a banker until the events that led the Tojo Clan getting 10 billion yen was partially framed on him which led to him being fired and losing all of his money. Later on, after the explosion at the top of Millenium Tower happened and spread the 10 billion yen across the city, Akiyama gathered over 1 million yen which he bet and continue to get money until he used to fund his finance office Sky Finance.

Notable Attacks/Techniques:

  • Heat: Akiyama, much like most characters in the Yakuza series, can use a mysterious energy called Heat. With Heat, Akiyama gets stronger, faster and more durable, he also becomes more resistant to knives and guns. Akiyama can also spend a good amount of his Heat to do Heat moves or to use Launch Strike. Akiyama can charge up Heat by damaging the enemy and avoiding attacks, he loses Heat when he takes damage or uses a Heat move.
  • Feel the Heat!: Akiyama charges up his Heat and uses to land a devastating blow to his opponent, this is typically saved for the end of a fight.
  • Launch Strike: Akiyama uses his Heat to send an enemy flying in the air and combos them in the air while levitating off of the ground. While doing this he is invulnerable.
  • Final Drive: Akiyama does a flip and charges up a powerful kick.
  • Killer Kick Combo: Akiyama kicks the opponent multiple times before flip kicking the enemy.
  • Meteor Strike: While taunting an enemy, Akiyama dodges an enemy's punch by quickly jumping into the air so fast that it looks like he disappeared before landing on their head and stomping it on the ground.
